What is Aluminum Die Casting?

Aluminum die casting involves injecting molten aluminum alloy under high pressure into a steel mold to create complex, high-precision components. This process can achieve dimensional tolerances as tight as ±0.1 mm and surface finishes down to Ra0.8μm, enabling mass production of parts with consistent quality.

  1. Material Preparation
    We select aluminum alloys such as ADC12 and A380, known for tensile strength up to 310 MPa and excellent corrosion resistance.

  2. Melting
    Our melting furnaces operate at temperatures around 680°C, ensuring optimal alloy fluidity.

  3. Injection
    High-pressure injection (up to 200 MPa) into precision molds with cycle times typically between 15-60 seconds, depending on part complexity.

  4. Cooling and Solidification
    Rapid cooling minimizes defects; typical solidification times are 5-15 seconds per cycle.

  5. Ejection and Finishing
    Our CNC machining center includes 50+ machines with 3 to 5-axis capability, achieving tolerances within ±0.05 mm.

  6. Quality Inspection
    Using advanced measuring tools including CMM (Coordinate Measuring Machines), we maintain a product defect rate below 0.5%.
