Transmission cases are core structural components in automotive and industrial drivetrains. They house gears, shafts, and bearings while providing structural support, alignment, and protection for internal components. They also contribute to heat dissipation and lubrication management within the transmission system.
Due to their complex internal structures, tight dimensional tolerances, and high mechanical load requirements, high-pressure die casting is widely used for manufacturing aluminum transmission cases. Our precision die casting process ensures consistent wall thickness, good surface finish, and high dimensional accuracy, making the parts suitable for subsequent CNC machining and assembly.
Process: High-pressure die casting (HPDC)
Tooling: In-house mold design and manufacturing
Machining: 3-axis, 4-axis, and 5-axis CNC machining for critical surfaces and bearing seats
Surface Treatment (optional): Shot blasting, powder coating, e-coating, machining, and deburring
We provide end-to-end manufacturing from mold design to finished transmission cases, including die casting, precision machining, and surface finishing.
Lightweight aluminum construction
High structural strength and rigidity
Excellent dimensional stability
Good heat dissipation performance
Suitable for high-volume production
Compatible with precision post-machining and assembly processes
Common aluminum alloys used for transmission cases include:
ADC12 / A380 – good castability and surface finish
A356 – improved mechanical properties when higher strength is required
Material selection depends on transmission type, operating temperature, load conditions, and machining requirements.
Precision die-cast transmission cases are widely used in:
Passenger cars
Commercial vehicles
Electric vehicles (EV) and hybrid powertrains
Heavy-duty machinery
Industrial transmission systems
X-ray inspection for internal defects
Dimensional measurement using CMM
